Did something feel off during this scene? You were right! During the dance club sequence most of the people surrounding Nina are either become visions of herself, Lily, Thomas, or other aspects of the Swan Lake ballet. Although most of them are nearly impossible to pinpoint while watching the film at full speed, there are over 1,000 manipulated images in the 45-second scene.
